Delete your First Thing account
You don't need an account to use First Thing. If you signed in with Google to back up your settings, you can delete that account and its data at any time.
In the app
- Open First Thing and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and backup are deleted straight away.
By email
If you no longer have the app, email support@owt.cards from the Google account you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my First Thing account". We'll delete your account and backup within 30 days and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account: name, email address and user ID
- Your backup: routines, places and preferences
What's kept
Nothing is kept on our servers once your account is deleted. Data stored only on your phone or watch, such as your plan, sleep history and learned routines, stays there until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Coach questions sent to Gemini aren't stored. See the privacy policy for details.
